Introduction
CITB NI are now offering the Construction Management and Leadership Development Programme (MLDP) which is aimed at companies who wish to improve the skill levels of their construction managers and supervisors. The MLDP can also assist companies to improve the effi ciency and effectiveness of their business, assessing management competence in line with your business objectives.

The programme includes:

• • A presentation to your Company by CITB NI
• • Provision of promotional material to be used in house
• • Access to the online Management and Leadership Diagnostic Tool (MLDT) with
• individual and company based reports
• • A company report feedback session delivered in-house by CITB NI
• • An action planning and signposting session delivered in-house

What is the MLDT?
The MLDT is a simple online questionnaire that asks what individual job roles are, what they do and their skills levels. The questions have been developed through consultation with construction employers and are based on National Occupational Standards.
It takes approximately 60-90 minutes to complete a series of 79 questions, based on the following six sections:

• • A company profi le of competencies and any skills gaps
• • Highlighting areas of work that would benefi t from a new or revised procedure or work instruction
• • Matching a team’s skills and competencies to particular projects

Cost: £500 + VAT for a company and includes up to 10 individuals
