CITB NI Training in Partnership Funding was established over a decade ago and during this time £1.8million has been invested in a range of training initiatives to support the industry including Mental Health Training, Women in Plant Pilot Scheme and Roofing Apprenticeship Scheme. If you are an Industry Federation and/or Representative Body - you can be part of this ongoing success story.

The Training in Partnership Funding aims to support industry federations and representative bodies to provide training as identified and may be procured by CITB NI on behalf of the construction industry.
CITB NI supports training that the industry has identified as being important to development, innovation and productivity. These Partnerships continue to target areas identified by the industry representative bodies or through employer engagement as critical in dealing with the current economic climate and for the future wellbeing of the industry.
Do you have a project that is based in Northern Ireland and shares CITB NI’s Mission and Vision?
It may be eligible for a Training in Partnership Funding.
How to apply
Training in Partnership Funding is designed to deliver training to employers at little or no cost. Encouraging strategically important training to improve the performance of the industry in relation to future needs.
Training in Partnership provided directly by CITB NI spans a wide range of needs.
If you are a construction employer and have a training need speak to your representative body so they can initially enquire and/or make an application on your behalf.

SITE IT project
A collaboration between Sentireal, NIACRO & CITB NI alongside NI Prison Service.
Site IT is a Training in Partnership Project it utilises VR technology to enable prisoners to ‘learn by doing’ in immersive VR environments, delivering vocational construction training, allowing them to build vocational skills and gain virtual work experience, allowing them to build vocational skills and gain virtual work experience to support rehabilitation and prospects of a brighter future
