Women in Construction Network Site Visit - Grand Central Station Belfast

25 members of the Women in Construction Network attended an informative and interactive site visit to the Belfast Grand Central Station Project hosted by Tara Begley, Site Supervisor for ARUP.
 
The Belfast Grand Central Station project will deliver a modern, world-class integrated transport hub to enhance local and international connectivity with bus, coach and rail links across Northern Ireland and beyond.

The visit included site presentations with information on the project delivery and key roles involved as well as a site tour guided by the site engineers. 
 
The group included 4 construction students from SERC accompanied by their lecturer who felft it was a great insight for the female students on her course to see the live project and showcase the work of Women in Construction.
