Traineeships

Traineeships is an exciting new route for work and study for those preparing to enter employment.  Delivered by the six Regional Colleges of Further and Higher Education, construction employers will have the opportunity to work with Colleges in developing trainees’ job-specific skills aligned to construction and their business needs.  

There are a range of construction related occupational areas including brickwork, engineering, plant maintenance, painting and decorating, electrical, and plumbing.  Employers who sign up agree to provide a minimum of one day per week of the programme as work placement, which will be monitored by the college.
