Notification for Training Providers March 2021

CITB NI has revised the policy for evaluating the standard of training for employers to be eligible for CITB NI Grant Assistance.
 

If the Training Provider has accreditation in place from a recognised third party, CITB NI will rely on this as a means for measuring if an adequate standard of training delivery has been attained.  CITB NI will request confirmation of the accreditation held.
 
If the training being provided is a health and safety course and the Training Provider has no accreditation in place from a recognised third-party, the trainer will require a recognised health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
 
Training providers will continue to be required to sign an  declaration stating that the courses will be delivered by suitably qualified and competent trainers and that all courses meet any current regulations and industry requirements. Download updated form here.
