Beginners Guide to Risk Assessment Fri 24 Nov

CITB NI have created a specialist training partnership with South Eastern Regional College (SERC)  to deliver a brand new virtual environment risk assessment training programme to help businesses understand the basic processes involved in making their workplace legally compliant.
 

The course entitled, ‘A Beginners Guide to Risk Assessment’ has been devised to combine the theory behind why risk assessments are necessary with practical activities that will enhance understanding of the process using an innovative and novel approach.
 
'A Beginners Guide to Risk Assessment' will

  • Combine theory with practical activities on why risk assessments are necessary.
  • Introduce a novel and innovative approach to learning through the use of CITB NI's VET360 virtual training facility so real life risks can be identified in total safety.
  • Involve a number of practical staged scenarios to allow the participants to practice undertaking a Risk Assessment using recommended pro forma templates that they can adopt to use in their own business or organisation.
  • Be delivered by SERC personnel with over 15 years of experience in health and safety and risk assessment training.

This course is not specifically for construction it is designed to be useful to all sectors of industry from small businesses that need to be able to produce risk assessments to win or undertake contracts to large multi-national organisations that have a number of individuals responsible for health and safety issues.
 
Dates:  This 3 hour course will run next on

  • Friday 24th November 2017

Venue: CITB NI, Nutts Corner Training Centre, 17 Dundrod, Road, Crumlin Co Antrim

Times - 9.30am - 12.30am
 
Cost - £60 per person (CITB NI grant available to registered employers who have met the Tier 1 eligibility terms and conditions of the direct grants to employers 2017/2018)
