Joint Utilities Entry Programme - Video Overview
CITB NI, in partnership with the Department for the Economy (DfE), NIE Networks, and Kier, has successfully completed the inaugural Joint Utilities Entry Level Training Programme. This pioneering initiative offered specialised training for participants in the utilities sector, crucial for developing the workforce needed for a net zero economy.
Designed to support subcontractors who provide asset installation services for the utility sector the programme ensured they were equipped with competent and skilled personnel. Over the course of 22 weeks, participants received both practical and theoretical training, including 80 days on-site and 30 days off-site.

Phase 2 of the programme will reopen for new applications in the Autumn and will be promoted through partner websites and social media channels.
