Forthcoming CITB NI Training Courses and Workshops for early 2018

New year, New Training Resolutions .CITB NI are focused on driving investment in skills and training that a growing construction sector require and we could have the right thing for you.

Please find a list of our forthcoming training courses and workshops for early 2018.

  • Leader in  Construction: Leading Change for Growth
 
         Date: Mon 15th January 9am - 4.30pm
         Venue: CITB NI

 This workshop is designed to help the leaders appreciate their role in leading positive change in their businesses. The aim is to expose them to proven models for planning and introducing change in organisations and to help them relate these to the planning of the changes they will be making in agreement with the Owner/Director
  
 
  • Recruiting Apprentices & Training Needs Analysis Workshop  (in partnership with Invest NI)

Date: Wed 17th January 2018 - 8:45- 12:45
Venue: Lodge Hotel, Coleraine BT52 1NF  
  
This workshop will explore the benefits of apprenticeships, how to recruit, how to promote and the funding available. The workshop will also  focus on improving the skills of your workforce which will help improve productivity.
 
 
 
  • Undergraduate Development Programme
8 day training programme for undergraduate students currently on placement with CITB NI registered employers who are eligible to claim £100 per day paid on completion of the full course programme.

This interactive workshop will help empower construction professionals to be able to begin effectively marketing their business online and take it to the next level.

  • Tendering in the Public Sector Construction Market Workshop (in partnership with Intertrade Ireland)
Date: Fri 23 Feb 2018
Venue: Innovation Centre, Derry/Londonderry
 
This workshop will highlight the opportunities emerging in public sector construction across the UK and Ireland. Key topics include; tender frameworks, writing techniques, meeting the criteria, estimating, pricing and evaluation.

  • Leader in Construction: Managing & Securing Financial Resources
Date: Monday 5th March 2018
Venue: CITB NI
 
Participants will learn how to build effective relationships with their financial institution, understand management accounting for construction, evaluate various financial options and help ensure they are making a profit for growth.
