CITB NI – Updated Message for our customers

In accordance with Government directives, CITB NI will close its office and staff will be working from home.  We will attempt as far as possible to continue with the essential work we do to support the industry, however the response times may be longer than normal.

If contacting CITB NI please do so by email to your usual contacts or via the following general email addresses:

We will get back to you as soon as we can.  The office phone numbers will be closed down so email is the only way to communicate.  Emails to the “info@” address will be monitored and forwarded on to the appropriate people.

All Grant applications over the coming period should be made on-line to ensure we can record and process them.  Any postal Grant applications will be dealt with as soon as practicable.  We will endeavour to make sure any grant payments are issued to employers as soon as possible over this difficult time.

All training scheduled to take place over the coming weeks (Scaffolding, Mobile Training Unit, Mental Health & Employer Engagement events) has been postponed.  Please monitor CITB NI’s social media outlets to obtain updated information on when these will resume.

The window for providing the CITB NI Levy Return will open on 6th April as planned.  Information on this will follow and applications should be done on-line as postal applications may be disrupted over this difficult period.

Most employers have already paid the 2019-2020 years Levy but some have elected to take up “Option” and have yet to be invoiced for the second instalment of levy, others are still outstanding their levy payment or paying by Direct Debit.  CITB NI are legislatively obliged to collect the Levy however we understand that many will have difficulties with this.  If you cannot continue to make your regular monthly Direct Debit payments or unable to pay invoices raised, I ask that you contact us at levy@citbni.org.uk  to discuss the best solution for you at this time.

We all share this difficult time and please be assured that we, CITB NI, are committed to supporting the industry as much as possible and are looking at how we can do this for employers and their staff in different ways over the coming months.  Please keep monitoring our social media outlets and website for updated information.
