We are moving back to CITB NI

We are moving back to CITB NI

We are making a change to our name from CITB-ConstructionSkills NI back to CITB NI. As we focus more on serving our industry in NI and working more closely with NI employers we feel our original name, CITB NI, better reflects this. We think this will make it simpler for you, our customers to do business with us.

It is also our 50th Anniversary this year, so it is a time to both celebrate the legacy of CITB NI and the good work we have done over the past 5 decades and to look forward as we continue to change the way we support training and development of people within the industry.

Won’t it cost lots of money?
No because we are changing the logo at a time where we are changing all our materials as part of our normal cycle of renewal over a 12 month period. There will still be some “old material” with the old logo on it but as stock runs out and we re-print the new branding will take over.

What about our role as a Sector Skills Council?
Along with CITB (GB) and the Construction Industry Council we’ll still be a partner
in the Sector Skill Council, ConstructionSkills and we will continue to use the
ConstructionSkills brand for our partnership working; but we – as an organisation – will be known as CITB NI.

Are there any changes to the organisation?
No, as an Industry Training Board and Sector Skills Council our role is still to
encourage the adequate training of those employed or intending to be employed in
the construction industry and to improve the skills and productivity of the industry in
Northern Ireland.

We will continue to provide advice, courses and grants for training to help construction
companies improve their skills to increase their competitive edge.
Will there be changes to your contact details?

Our telephone will remain the same – 028 9082 5466 however the website and email
domain will change.

Our website will change to www.citbni.org.uk

Our email address will change to first name. last name@citbni.org.uk
