CITB NI and HSENI Small Builders Seminar on 16th April 2019
Small Builders Workshop
HSENI and CITB NI are pleased to be running a joint seminar on Tuesday 16th April 2019. The seminar will provide information for those responsible for smaller construction projects and their clients.
Programme:
2.00 – 2.30 Registration and Refreshments
2.30 – 2.50 Application of CDM to smaller projects – Nancy Henry (HSENI)
2.50 – 3.10 Products and Services offered by CITB NI – Amanda Stevenson (CITB NI)
3.10 – 17.30 Open forum – opportunity for one to one discussion with HSENI inspector
HSENI will be in attendance to provide guidance and information on responsibilities under CDM Regulations 2016. They will focus on the duties of sub-contractors, domestic clients and anyone responsible for constructing on their land. The seminar aims to identify problem areas and suggest how to best tackle them to ensure compliance with the CDM regs. Several HSENI inspectors will be in attendance to discuss CDM informally with attendees.
CITB NI will be in attendance to deliver a presentation on their products and services available to the Northern Ireland construction industry including training grants, such as the £5,200 CITB NI apprentice grant, training courses including the free training available through the Mobile Training Unit, industry research and free publications which you will be able to take away.
