CITB NI COIVID-19 Advice

If you are at a CITB NI event or Training Course

*  If you become unwell at the event/course (even if you haven’t travelled recently), you should try to
   move to an isolated area or leave immediately and follow this guidance;
*  Please make the relevant staff/ event organiser aware.
*  If you think this could be in relation to coronavirus then, you should call NHS 111 from your mobile and explain which country you have returned from in the last 14 days and outline
your current symptoms.
*  Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze and avoid touching people, surfaces and objects.

Health and safety:

* Attendees/visitors are encouraged to wash their hands or use hand-sanitiser on arriving at the event building and after coughing and sneezing.

*Cleaners have been instructed to pay particular attention to frequently-touched communal areas.

* Public Health Agency recommends that the following general cold and flu precautions are taken to help prevent people from catching and spreading COVID-19:

*  Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. See Catch it, Bin it, Kill it.
*   Put used tissues in the bin straight away.
*   Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. See hand washing guidance.

*  Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
*  Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
*  Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
