Apprentice of the Year Nominations Now Open
Nominations are now open for the two award categories; Apprentice of the Year Award, and Innovation in Partnership Award (for Employers and Training Suppliers).
The Apprentice of the Year Awards 2015 recognise the successes of apprentices who have made a real difference to their own future and to the organisation they work for. Apprentices currently on the Department for Employment and Learning Apprenticeships programme are eligible for nomination, providing they meet the entry criteria. The support of Sector Skills Councils and Standard Setting Bodies in encouraging nominations will be key to the success of the event.
Apprentice of the Year Award
Awarded on the basis of outstanding overall occupational progress, practical and theoretical application, positive approach to employment and personal qualities.
Innovation in Partnership Award
Is designed to acknowledge excellence and originality between the training supplier and employer in the delivery of the Department for Employment and Learning's Apprenticeships training. Joint nominations can be made with either the employer or training organisation taking the lead.
