CITB in Northern Ireland, together with CITBGB and the Construction Industry Council CIC, now form the Construction Industry Sector Skills Council, ConstructionSkills. ConstructionSkills represents both craft and professional sides of the industry and is responsible for tacking skills and productivity issues of the construction industry across the UK.
CIC are a representative forum for professional bodies, research organisations and specialist business associations in the construction industry. In addition, CIC represents the views of the higher level of the industry (professional, managerial and technical) in ConstructionSkills – the Sector Skills Council for construction. ConstructionSkills is a partnership between CIC, CITB-ConstructionSkills and CITB-ConstructionSkills NI.
The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) represents professionals working and studying in the field of Architectural Technology.
