Through its strategic focus CITB-ConstructionSkills Northern Ireland continues to support the industry to ensure that employers and employees can carry out their work competently and safely. The Board has determined the Vision, Values and Strategic Aims of CITB-ConstructionSkills Northern Ireland as follows:

Establish a training culture throughout the construction industry

1. Skills development and qualifications to work effectively and efficiently

1.1 Identify and promote training and education programmes and assessment methods leading to nationally recognised qualifications

2. Develop health safety and welfare culture where everyone accepts responsibility for their own and other’s safety
