Sector Skills Council Involvement

In 2004 CITB-ConstructionSkills Northern Ireland became a partner with CITB in Great Britain and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) in the Sector Skills Council for the UK construction industry, ConstructionSkills. This ConstructionSkills SSC has a much wider footprint than either the training boards (in NI and GB) in that it includes all of the UK including the self employed and professional services sector represented by CIC.
